Frank Samarin, M.D.
Dr. Samarin grew up in a small town just outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He earned his medical degree at MCP/Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia. From there, he served as a flight surgeon for the United States Air Force. Subsequently, he completed a dermatology residency at Yale University. Dr. Samarin moved to Colorado Springs to serve as the dermatologist at the United States Air Force Academy. That is when he and his family fell in love with Colorado Springs and decided to make this wonderful community their home.
Dr. Samarin serves as a volunteer preceptor at the Peak Vista Family Practice Residency Program and is a volunteer Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
Annalise, Medical Assistant
Annalise was born in Colorado, her dad was in the military, which gave her family the pleasure of living in England for a few years before moving back to Colorado when her dad retired.
Annalise attended UCCS and graduated in 2020 with a bachelors in Exercise Science. Annalise has worked in different areas of the medical field including hospital nutrition, family practice, pain management and Dermatology. Annalise looks forward to pursuing graduate school.
In her free time, she enjoys reading and working out.
Hannah, Medical Assistant
Hannah was born in Minneapolis Minnesota and is a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. She attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and graduated in May of 2023 with a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences.
Hannah has one younger sister, and they did everything together growing up. She recently moved to Colorado Springs to enjoy all the scenery, and experience living in a new state. When Hannah is not at work, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with friends and family. She has two adorable pups who keep life very interesting! Hannah is excited to be a part of the amazing team at Mountaintop Dermatology.
Malik, Medical Assistant
Malik was born and raised in Colorado Springs and has always enjoyed the beautiful mountains here. He recently graduated from University of Colorado, Colorado Springs with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
Malik loves to make people smile due to his experience with being the oldest of five brothers. When he’s not at work, Malik enjoys bouldering, snowboarding, and finding new music to listen to. Malik is excited to be a part of the incredible Mountaintop Dermatology team and hopes that his experience will carry over onto his future endeavors.
Natalie, Medical Assistant
Natalie is a Colorado Springs native. She has been working in the medical field for over 18 years and loves helping patients.
In her free time, she loves hanging out with her family, going fishing, jeeping, going to concerts, and trying new breweries in the state.
Natalie is excited to be part of the Mountaintop Dermatology team!
Susie, Practice Manager
Susie was born and raised in a small village in southwest England. She moved to California as a teenager and after falling in love with her husband and the beautiful state of Colorado, she moved here in 2015.
Susie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and her Master’s in Business Administration at the University of Phoenix. Susie joined Mountaintop Dermatology after leading other healthcare organizations for 20 years.
When not at work, she has a passion for adventure and learning anything new. As a certified Sommelier, Susie enjoys tasting wine from all over the world, her other hobbies include billiards, photography, hiking, kayaking, fishing, shooting, and traveling with her husband. She loves hanging out at home, entertaining family and friends.
Susie loves being a part of the Mountaintop family and wants every patient to receive the best care possible.
